So I just downloaded Phantasy Star II for my iphone as my black friday gift to myself and am wondering where I can get the other 3. I have not gotten to play these in forever and would absolutely love to grab these in a legal way.

Phantasy Star I - IV  can be found on the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.  Only problem is that # 1 is a unlockable game. Haven't
been able to play since my son moved out and took the 360 with him.  Time to buy my own I guess!!!

Been thinking about getting a 360 but I don't think I play games enough to spend my limited fun money Roll Eyes.

Phantasy Star 4 is definately one of my favorite rpgs of all time. It was also one of the first rpgs I played back in the Sega Genesis days.  Still have it and still play it once every few years or so.  I like the world in that one so much, there was a time when I was seriously considering modding out microlite and doing a campaign setting for it.

If anyone's interested i've been intending to do a Phantasy Star Tabletop game ever since i saw the one available over on 1KM1KT.com. it looked okay, pretty nice for what it was supposed to be, and yet something about it irked me to no end.

you see...it was based on Phantasy Star Online, not the ones i played growing up. No nostalgia factor being present nearly killed my desire to play it, but now i wish to make a proper one.

i've been wanting to see what i could come up with at any rate. not sure if it'd be for M20 though, as i design systems for a hobby. any thoughts are welcome.

I think a key to the entire thing would be which game you wanted to set it in. You could also choose to just base it after the games in the setting.

Snake_Storm, I'm interested to see what you come up with.  I'm not too crazy about the direction the series has gone in since the early 2000's.  It's become the very saccharine-soaked run-of-the-mill anime type of thing whearas the previous installments were atmospheric and had characters that were somehow believable given the limitations of the graphics.
