Microlite20 Drift King

http://www.forum.koboldenterprise.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=74

Street Racing Pocketmod Tabletop Roleplaying Game - Philadelphia, Miami, Denver, Seattle, Austin - Late nights lit by neon, dark silence shattered by pirated MP3s, grey streets tattooed by the sweeping arcs of burnt rubber. This is the world of Street Racing. Drift King is the RPG that carves the stories of street racers, drift drivers and acceleration artists into the asphalt.

What the...

Racing RPG?

Looks cool, might be adaptable if a race evr comes up and since it comes as a pocket mod it's not that hard to carry along.

Realizing it's a pocket-mod (may such be banished to the abyss), and acknowledging the thought and creativity that went into it - and racing being a universal human activity since the beginning - nevertheless I was confused by how exactly to use M20 characters in car races.  "Melee" and "hit points" and such have very little applicability, barring the occasional barfight or "burgle the cheating-bad-guy's-hideout."   M20 presumes basic familiarity with D&D, and considering the original milieu basic familiarity with how dice rolls are applied to simulate sword fights.  There's no frame of reference here for how Drift King M20 is used for "D&D car races."

i'm kinda with ravensron. i don't see the point like conceptually. Chase rules, sure. but a whole game?

i suppose this could work, however. maybe when i get more experience under my belt i can try to microsize d20 redline or something. at least in a post apocalyptic type setting you have something else to do than race.

This might be useful for vehicular combat stuff, or if you wanted to run a Need For Speed-esque campaign. Although I can't imagine the latter working very well.

i might tweak it a bit to run something akin to Deathrace 2000. maybe without the violent social commentary though.
