Was reading around on TV Tropes and stumbled upon this:

Thunderball Rally: Inspired by '70s and '80s action Road Movies  like Smokey And The Bandit and The Blues Brothers, the players are participants in a huge, illegal, and extremely lucrative cross-American road race. It was published in Polyhedron #152 and, as a joke, had rules for creating orangutan  player characters.

Was apparently a setting for D20 Modern.

Anyone ever play it? Sounds like it'd be great for a quick one-shot..

Orangutan PC's? Driving race cars? Wasn't that a Don DeLuise movie? I reckon it would be a blast.

Watch the Cannonball Run movies and you'll know what Thunderball Rally is.  Honestly, I'd love to see another movie with the current batch of film stars out there.

It sounds like it could be a fun game, or as part of a modern setting story arc.
