Been meaning to do something like this for a while now, but never got around to it.  Then I started watching Deadwood last week...which led me to think about Cattlepunk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_of ... nner_Table)...leading me to crack open my copy of Sidewinder Recoiled...and then Guns & Goblins got bumped to the top of the forum, reminding of how cool that is...you get the point.

It all put me in the mood for some Wild West, without fantasy, weird science, horror or anything extra added in.  Just gritty, desperate people doing bad things to each other for money and fame.   :D

So, I threw this together during a slow bit at work today.

5 lean, mean pages of the Wild West, Microlite20 style...and almost completely self-contained...hopefully.

Probably the last draft of this.  There's not much to it to fix--there doesn't seem to be any egregious math errors and my current game group is fixated on D&D 4e, so I probably won't get to playtest at all.

Wow!  It looks like I'm one of the first people to see this gem.  Nice work!  I especially like your integration of many of the optional combat actions found in the forums.

Over the past month, Star Wars, Cthulhu and the Wild West have all seen adaptations to the Microlite system (not to mention the dozen additional adaptations that have appeared over the past two years).  I hope this makes Greywulf proud of what he has started...

Thanks, guys!

Aaaand, just for the hell of it, since it's so small....turns out the game is short enough that, with a bit of editing, I could make a PocketMod out of it.  Now the Wild West fits in your wallet.    :geek:

Had to kill the flavor text and a few of the more optional bits, but it turned out surprisingly well.  I'm kinda surprised, personally.
