I am just checking on something... damage rolls

On a two handed weapon do you multiply your str bonus x2 and add that to your damage

Great Axe with 1d10 and Str 18 (+4 STR Bonus x 2 = 8  ) so... 1d10+8 ??

As always thanks in advance!

I actually read that slightly differently. When wielding a weapon with both hands damage gets str x 2, like you said. I allow my players to wield some one handed weapons with both as an option.

As written (since it uses the same terminology in both the Combat chapter and the Equipment chapter) I guess technically only weapons on the 2-Handed Weapons list would get the STR x 2 bonus to damage.

However, I think the spirit of the rule is that if a character uses both hands to swing a melee weapon, he/she gets STR x2 to damage, which is why I interpret the rule the same way Arkanis does (if you use a longsword 2-handed you should get the extra damage bonus).

Agree... in a ML20 I ran a Katana the same way since it can be wielded either with one hand or two... In a more Retro game I just gave it one more damage dice higher (1d8 1-hand, 1d10 - 2 hand)
