This is pretty much the friendliest, most constructive forum that I have ever been on. Microlite is so incredibly pared down that nobody really tries to change it or remove anything from it, with the exception of replacing d20 with card or scrabble tiles because hey, why not? With a game structure that is entirely additive, it's hard to find much negativity.
So my question is, does anybody know of any threads that could be called 'flame-wars' on this forum?

I was thinking about the lack of flame wars here while putting together a blog article the other day. We literally have no flame wars or snarkiness of any kind.
While other forums are ablaze with the 5e mobscene our 5e thread came, was discussed, and has since passed into the ether for the time being. People voiced their opinions and ideas and then others responded with their thoughts and ideas. And that was that.
Speaks highly for the class of people here I think.

The closest I can recall was that one crazy dude who was convinced that WotC would unleash legal hell on us if we didn't include a 14 page legal notice with every game doc we posted. Even that wasn't much of a flame war. People here are just too darn friendly for flamewars.

Yea other than the OGL fellow I don’t think we have had much problems. I think it has to do with the core concepts of m20 that brought us all together. We are very much a different strokes for different folks community. Some of us like are m20 straight up no chaser, while others prefer to mix and match a nice little cocktail of features. I’ve seen some folks here use the “plugins” that were made which added class level abilities back in, while my group is personally fans of a watered down feat system. One of the biggest things m20 has to it is a truly good group of folks. We may not grow fast as a community (mostly because we never really rock the boat) but when we do get new people in there are always great folks. Quality over quantity

Quality over quantity Mother Russia disagrees . But seriously, this is quite the forum. I would agree with Crose and say that we're all very classy individuals.
