For anyone who needs a little extra help visualizing or illustrating something, be it a character, object, or place, I recommend registering at www.deviantart.com and browsing the stock images.

Whatever you do, pay close attention to the rules of whatever stock artist you are using however...  Needless to say, many are willing to work with you, and in fact some of the artists that illustrated some of the other OSR products out there (S&W and BFRPG) reside on DA as well.

That, and if someone needs some magic objects illustrated and finds something on there they need, let me know.  I'll be happy to help out.

More hex sheets for map makers!

Using the open source vector graphics editor, Inkscape, I created several hex pages.  Here are the links to them on my Deviant Art gallery:

Inkscape .svg file (www.inkscape.org Inkscape download)
http://sudsysutherland.deviantart.com/art/five-eighths-inch-hex-Inkscape-283276216

GIMP .xcf file with 2 layers (www.gimp.org GIMP download)
http://sudsysutherland.deviantart.com/art/five-eighths-inch-hex-GIMP-283276840

Feel free to download, and use and abuse those file to your own twisted specifications!  They are US Letter size portrait orientated pages and un-numbered.

Yup, I just signed up over there recently.  I don't know what took me so long...

...But hey, I'm loving this OSR in its many forms!  Gives me something to play with (rules), and so I try to give back to the sets that intrest me the most (right now, just some hex sheets, maybe a few drawings someday).

Yeah I've never been a rules tinkerer so I've been enjoying creating adventures for BFRPG and play testing them.
