The combat rules state that any damage taken after at 0 HP results in loss of STR, but it never specifies if this loss is permanent or if it's healable, etc.  What are the rules on this?  I imagine it differs from DM to DM, but what do the core rules have to say about it?

Quite right too - as with everything, it's entirely up to the DM!

When this has happened in my game though, I've allowed magical healing to recover the lost STR. That's replenished first, followed by the lost hit points. The character doesn't become conscious until the STR is fully recovered, whether that's through bed-rest or magical healing,. They can't drink a potion to recover the lost STR, as they're unconscious, so can't swallow. Only a Cleric or bed-rest will do.

Hope that helps!

Perfect!  I pretty much had assumed that that's what it would take...

I'm excited to play...  I've played D&D once, and found it too...  Cumbersome and sloppy.  I think that Microlite20 is exactly what me and my friends are looking for; I'm setting up my campaign right now. ^_^

Hey-hey!

One more question...

I knowwww, it's up to me ultimately, but I'd like some clarification on the original rules... It says that...

"Each level adds:
+1d6 to Hit Points
+1 to all attack rolls
+1 to all skills"

Well...  What rolls, exactly, does the "all attack rolls" include?  Just the AC check, basically?  Or does it add to damage also(No wait, that's the damage roll, right? >.<)

I'm a newb... So be easy.  Like I said, I played D&D once before this.

plz halp.

Thank you. :P

@Tylui, You got it right first time - it's just the roll to hit. The damage bonus doesn't change.

Hope that helps!
